Coulter Forge Technology, Inc has a broad background in forging technology. We supply many markets with quality forgings. We are pre-production qualified for many Navy Nuclear specifications, such as MIL-DTL-23229, MIL-N-24106 and MIL-L-24128. We also supply forgings to many U.S. Government specifications such as QQ-N-281D and QQ-N-286F. We also supply LEVEL-1 products to the various Government facilities and their vendors.

For each order we determine the monitoring and measurements to be performed and the devices needed to provide evidence of conformity of product to specified requirements. Trained inspectors follow written procedures to assure all required processes and inspections are completed.
Our experienced staff of blacksmiths, forge engineers and technicians oversee the design, manufacture, heat treat and destructive testing of all our products. We also maintain an in-house non-destructive test lab.

Coulter has access to many testing facilities, including local destructive test labs for fast turn around time. Tensile, impact, stress rupture, fracture toughness, dynamic tear testing and chemical analysis are a few of the many tests that are available.

Coulter also provides an in-house non-destructive test lab for quick turn around time. A few of the Labs capabilities are ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant inspection as well as alloy identity testing.
