Coulter provides a wide range of manufacturing skill to meet most customer's needs. The many types of materials that we are capable of forging using different types of equipment which gives us the advantage of being able to provide a wide range of open die forgings. Our capabilities can provide the type of forging you want in a timely and quality manner that you would expect.

CFT offers has a wide range of forging, heat treating and machining capabilities to fit the needs of our customers.
Seamless rolled rings, forged bars and plate, back extrusions and stepshafts are just a few of the different types of forgings we can supply.
* ROUND BARS from 1"Dia. to 16" Dia. (25mm to 400mm)
Lengths up to 14 feet (4200mm)
* RINGS from 3-1/2"ID to 98"OD (90mm to 2500mm)
Face height 1" to 21" (25mm to 525mm)
* STEP SHAFTS from 16"Dia. X 14 feet long (400mm to 4200mm)
* UPSET BLOCKS 5 lbs to 4,000 lbs (2-1/2 kg to 1800 kg)
* RECTANGULAR or SQUARE BARS from 1" thick to 12" square
(25mm to 300mm) with lengths up to 14 feet (4200mm) weights up to 4,000 lbs (1800 kg)
* SLEEVES from from 20"Dia. x 24" long (500mm x 600mm)
weights up to 3,000 lbs (1350 kg)
* DISCS up to 36"Dia. (900mm) weights up to 4,000 lbs (1800 kg)
* SINGLE and DOUBLE HUB FORGINGS up to 20"Dia.(500mm)
weights up to 2,000 lbs (907 kg)
* BACK EXTRUSIONS from 4"ID to 12"OD and up to 22" long
(100mm ID to 300mm OD up to 560mm long)

Annealing, Normalizing, Quenching, Tempering, Precipitation Hardening or Stress Relieving one of the types of heat treatment that your forging requires? Well Coulter's forgings are heat treated in calibrated furnaces under strict quality supervision. Our heat treating meets the standards of MIL-STD-1684, AMS/MIL-H-6088M, AMS/MIL-H-6875 and AMS-2750.

All of our machine shops are continuously audited , to ensure only the highest level of work is being performed.
